On Tourism Issues in Tourism Centers

The students of Master’s program ‘Tourism Management’ at Public Administration Academy of RA on the initiative of their lecturers Zarmine Zeytountsian – the Chairman of State Tourism Committee of Armenia, and Mekhak Apresyan – vice-chairman of the Committee, were on their practical course in Garni and Geghard. While observing the historical places as tourism centers, the students and their lecturers touched upon the tourism policy of the state, its current and further activities. They also discussed the current problems, challenges, priorities and tendencies.

The students also visited Khosrov Reserve, enjoyed the views of natural monuments ‘Symphony of the Stones’ or ‘Basalt Organ’. They discovered the miracle of nature, enjoyed Armenian cuisine and improved their stock of knowledge and practical skills in order to invest them into the development of the sphere in future.
