2018-2019 ”Developing a Sustainable Platform for Open Access Publishing in Armenia” (OAPA) project is implemented by University of Bergen Library (UiB) and two Armenian Universities; American University of Armenia (AUA) and Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia (PAARA).The project is funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affaires’ Eurasia-program and administered by Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU).
The project’s aim is to organise teachings of copyright law, a survey of researchers attitudes to Open Access, and development of good workflows for Open Access initiatives, installation, and upgrading of Institutional Repository software in AUA and PAARA.

The UN Corner in the Public Administration Academy of RA was launched on March 17, 2014 within the frame of the Cooperation Agreement signed between the Public Administration Academy of RA and the UN Department of Public Information Office in Yerevan. The UN Corner will provide the students and staff of the Academy with an opportunity to be more aware of the UN values and its activities, as well as to participate in the events initiated by this global organization.
The stock of UN Corner located at the library of the Academy counts around 700 pieces of publications in English, Armenian and Russian languages covering various spheres of UN activities, including human rights, social policy, demographic issues, civil society development, environmental protection etc. The publications are issued by UN agencies present in Armenia, as well as by the UN Head Offices located in New York, Vienna and Geneva.
In the framework of cooperation the UN Corner will serve also for organization of educational, outreach, cultural and other joint events.
